Red Brick Markets is a UK marketplace platform operated by Cobble Lane Market Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “the platform”). These Seller Terms govern your use of the platform as a vendor selling goods or services.

1. Seller Registration & Account

  • All sellers must register an account and complete verification, including ID checks via Stripe and platform processes.
  • Sellers must provide accurate and current business and contact information and maintain compliance with all applicable UK laws and regulations.
  • Approval by the platform is required before listing products.

2. Product Listings & Content

  • Sellers may list physical goods, digital downloads, vouchers, and selected services unless explicitly prohibited.
  • Sellers set pricing, shipping fees, and delivery times for each product.
  • Sellers must create clear store-wide terms or specific terms for every product regarding returns, refunds, and other policies.
  • All listings and uploaded content must comply with the platform’s Content & Intellectual Property Policy.
  • Sellers may integrate their accounts with third-party services such as Printful at their discretion.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Sellers pay a subscription fee (monthly or annual) to access the platform.
  • Platform commission fees range between 0.75% and 2.75% per sale.
  • Payments are processed via Stripe Connect; the platform does not hold or handle funds.
  • Payouts to sellers are only processed instantly via Stripe Connect, subject to Stripe’s terms and account status.
  • Vendor memberships are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Memberships can be cancelled at any time, and will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Annual memberships may be cancelled for a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that no customer transactions have occurred through the vendor’s shop during that period.
  • If a transaction has taken place, the membership becomes non-refundable and will continue until the end of the paid term.
  • Refunds do not apply to monthly memberships or renewals.

4. Seller Responsibilities

  • Sellers are fully responsible for order fulfilment, shipping, and customer service.
  • Sellers must comply with UK consumer law, including returns and refunds obligations.
  • Sellers communicate with buyers through platform messaging for order questions and disputes.
  • Sellers must comply with Stripe’s terms and all applicable laws concerning the sale of products and services.

5. Prohibited Activities

  • Sellers must not list counterfeit, illegal, adult, or prohibited goods as defined by platform policies, UK law, and Stripe’s prohibited business list.
  • The platform may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct.
  • Multiple seller accounts are permitted unless suspended for policy violations.

6. Intellectual Property & Content Warranty

  • Sellers retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant the platform a limited licence for marketing use as described in the Content & IP Policy.
  • Sellers warrant they own or have the appropriate licences for all content and products listed.
  • Sellers indemnify Cobble Lane Market Ltd against claims arising from IP infringement or legal breaches related to their listings.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

  • The platform may suspend or terminate seller accounts without prior warning for violations or legal reasons.
  • Upon termination, active listings will be removed from the website but retained as drafts in the seller’s account for record-keeping.
  • Sellers may appeal suspensions by contacting support, but the platform reserves final decision authority.

8. Compliance & Reporting

  • Sellers must provide all data and documentation necessary for tax reporting and regulatory compliance, including sharing information with HMRC as required.
  • Sellers must keep all business and contact details up to date in their account settings.

9. Agreement & Governing Law

  • By registering and selling on Red Brick Markets, sellers agree to these terms and all related platform policies.
  • These terms are governed by UK law, and any disputes will be subject to UK jurisdiction.
